Tango & ballet background
Beatriz Cisneros started ballet at the age of 9 and in 1991 she graduated as Professor of "Superior Classical Dance Study" in Buenos Aires. She took additional courses in pedagogy of corporal expression and education through arts. She also worked with children in beginner's ballet. In January 1999 she began dancing tango, enjoying this partner dance and improving her form through classes and seminars with distinguished dancers and teachers such as Eduardo Arquimbau, Nito and Elba, Fabian Salas, Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Osvaldo Zotto y Lorena Ermocida, Mario Bournissen, Damian and Nancy, "Junior" Cervila, Diego Di Falco, Geraldine and Ezequiel, Guillermina Quiroga and others.
During 5 years she taught tango and performed mainly at New York and Long Island (Where here she was a pionner for the tango comunity), but also at Boston, New Jersey and Washington DC. At NYC she participated at the renowed Paul Pellicoro's DanceSport studio. Since 2007 she is teaching in Europe: Germany, Italy and Ireland.
Besides Spanish, she speaks also English, French and Italian that is always a "Practical tool" to use when teaching and help her to aproach easily to foreign students.
Beatriz love to bring to different places not only Tango as a dance but what is behind it, a culture, spirit and history that represents the Argentine soul.
She was also a guest DJ for several milongas at N.Y.C., Long Island (N.Y.), Stuttgart (Germany), Torino (Italy), DATS-Dublin, and at Buenos Aires: "La Calesita", "Club Villa Malcom".
